Protect skin from future aging

PRP

I’ve recommended platelet-rich plasma (PRP) combined with collagen induction therapy to patients looking for long-lasting skin rejuvenation for about five years.

And your feedback has been incredible. My patients tell me it erases years from their appearance.

Now there’s new research that proves it works at the cellular level.

A study published just this year backs up what my patients are seeing.

Researchers gathered 30 women between the ages of 30 and 50 who were suffering from severe photoaging. All were experiencing collagen breakdown along with a decreased rate of skin cell turnover.

PRP was done on the right side of each volunteer’s face for a total of three procedures over 45 days.

After the final injections, researchers evaluated the effects of PRP using the VISIA® Complexion Analysis System and skin computed tomography. They determined that the therapy:1

  • Increased skin thickness
  • Enhanced collagen production
  • Reduced pigmentation and sunspots
  • Smoothed skin and decreased the appearance of pores
  • Decreased the number of wrinkles compared with pretreatment

Supermodel Molly Sims is “obsessed” with PRP. She’s seen “incredible results with my discoloration after using this therapy for a few months.”

But their research discovered something even more incredible…

The molecular changes that occurred during PRP treatment actually protected skin from future photoaging.

Maybe that’s the reason actress and supermodel Molly Sims says she “doesn’t like her skin” when she’s not using it…

The 46-year-old admits she “has an obsession with PRP because the benefits are endless. It reduces fine lines, improves the appearance of acne, aging, skin discoloration and more!”

The key anti-aging factors in platelet-rich plasma are the platelets themselves.

We’ve known for years that platelets are the part of your blood that’s responsible for clotting. But we’re only beginning to learn about their powerful rejuvenating capabilities and their potential to heal.

Platelets are your body’s “first responders.” They initiate a cascade of healing that’s 10 times more powerful than any drug available today.

In fact, it’ll be centuries before Big Pharma will be able to come up with a drug that can come close to doing what platelets can do.

Platelets work in two ways. First, they contain hundreds of growth factors. These proteins are critical for wound healing. And they regenerate injured or aging tissues and organs.

Platelets also attract stem cells to damaged or aging tissue. Once they get there, the stem cells multiply rapidly. Then they morph into whatever cells we need to repair damage.

In addition to platelets, PRP contains 1,100 different proteins, including your own unique growth factors that stimulate your collagen and elastin.

Like I said, at the Sears Institute for Anti-Aging, we combine PRP with collagen induction therapy – or microneedling.

PRP takes only about an hour. It doesn’t leave behind bruising, swelling or bleeding the way chemical peels, laser therapy or microdermabrasion can. You may get mild swelling, redness, or bruising but it fades within one to three days.

If you are considering PRP combined with collagen induction therapy to rejuvenate your skin – and prevent future aging – please call the Sears Institute at 561-784-7852. We are happy to answer any questions you have.

To Your Good Health,
